Book Giveaway and Excerpt: Labyrinth Lost by Zoraida Córdova

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC copy of Labyrinth Lost by Zoraida Córdova. I haven’t read it yet (I know, I’m late!) but I received an email about a book giveaway and wanted to share with everyone. This book sounds really original and I can’t wait to get to it. And the main character’s name is Alex, so that’s always a plus!  The link to the giveaway is at the bottom of the post. The giveaway is for US and Canada only (sorry!). It ends September 19th so sign up now if you are interested 🙂 There’s also an excerpt from the first chapter. I hope to have this read and a review posted before the end of the month. The book cover is linked to Goodreads if you want to check out other reviews. Happy reading!

“Nothing says Happy Birthday like summoning the spirits of your dead relatives.

Alex is a bruja, the most powerful witch in a generation…and she hates magic. At her Deathday celebration, Alex performs a spell to rid herself of her power. But it backfires. Her whole family vanishes into thin air, leaving her alone with Nova, a brujo boy she can’t trust. A boy whose intentions are as dark as the strange marks on his skin.

The only way to get her family back is to travel with Nova to Los Lagos, a land in-between, as dark as Limbo and as strange as Wonderland…”
